friendly people and the food was great! I had the ribs with the mango habanero sauce! Prices are reasonable too! Mmmm delicious... will definitely make this a regular stop when I visit Minnesota.
Very much enjoy coming here! Wings are amazing, smoked then fried, crispy and smoked! Ribs and rib tips done right! Not a big sandwich guy, but there's plenty of that here too! Staff is young, but very nice. Decent selection of can/bottle beer/wine. Cole slaw is good. Big TV's, open glass on two walls. You can tell they smoke on site, you can smell the place up the block! Love it
I see other folks commenting here that it used to be Smashburger so I'm comfortable making that comment as well. In comparison, this establishment is a LOT cleaner than the old Smashburger was. (I ate there once and never returned because of cleanliness issues.) We went there for lunch today (Monday). The lady working the counter was very pleasant and helpful. We split the 3-meat platter - the ribs were very good and I liked the spicy and the Carolina barbecue sauces. The rib tips were very good as well. The brisket, although a little bit dry, was very tender (and a bunch of sauce "fixed" the dry issue). The cornbread was excellent and we liked the cheese curds. In comparison to other local competition, (Famous Dave's), the food was a little bit better. TL/DR: friendly, clean restaurant with decent food, preferable to other local competition.
I got a takeout order late morning. I placed my order over the phone as online system left out sides. Which are delicious. Mac and cheese was cheesy and thankfully simple. Just the way I like it. Wings were mysteriously dry. I've got ribs next. I don't live in the area so my next visit will be a while. But there will be a next visit. Partially because of the fantastic service.
